daddy's oldest rabbit binbin died last week.. binbin was daddy's 1st few pets. she was with him even b4 i came along.. daddy told me alot about binbin.. she was brought home in a shoe box by daddy's sister.. at tat time daddy was still studying in the NUS.. his sister was supposed to own the rabbit... but soon enough... binbin became daddy's.. she's special.. she was a rabbit tat do not need a cage... not at least till i came along.. at nite.. daddy would put her on his ever-bulging tummy... stroke her.. and as he began to fall sleep... she'll hop off the bed.. and make herself comfy on his bedroom floor and juz sit there till she fell asleep. she'll juz be quiet thru the nite as daddy slept.. she'll pee and do her business in the room on sheets of newspaper too.. in a way.. she was also 'litter-trained' like me.. daddy said he nv knew rabbits are like tat.. then in the day time.. as daddy wanted to go out and when he started to change.. she'll hop onto the bed and sprint to and fro the bed.. its like she doesnt want him to leave.. and when he did leave.. she'll have the whole room to herself..
however, this beautiful picture changed after daddy got me.. as i 1st stepped into the flat... wandering and finding my way around.. binbin scampered and hid under the bed.. daddy tot that i needed the space to explore.. so for the 1st time ever, he caged binbin up.. its all myfault.. binbin then became very agressive...towards everyone.. even when daddy wanted to feed her.. she'll sometimes bite or scratch him.. daddy became very disillusioned.. but left her as she was.. years past.. daddy got binbin a new partner.. biangbiang.. who died about 2 years ago.. then about 1 year ago.. a rabbit tat daddy adopted as it was found in ZHSS compound, was brought home. he called her 'dirty fella' as she looked like a baby rabbit he once had but she din survive. one of the happiest moments daddy ever experienced was that after this one year of putting the adopted rabbit and binbin in separate cages side by side... he finally put them in a single big cage.. and they did not fight but found companionship with each other's presence. after all these years.. binbin began to mellow down and she finally let daddy stroke her again.. binbin was 7 years old when she passed away.. the normal life span of a rabbit is 6.. so, she had a long life,, in terms of a rabbit i guess. daddy reached home from sch and she was lying in the cage trying to catch her breath.. he cuddled her thin body for about 15mins... then she stopped breathing.. can see that daddy was glad, at least, he managed to be wif her when she drew her last breath. he brought her to this cremetorium along stevens road which also functions as an animal hospital. binbin's urn is due for collection since sunday... but daddy cant find the time time to go and collect her.. coz the place stops at 5pm.. and he's still stuck in school... see the pic...this is/was binbin juz shortly after she passed away.
rest in peace binbin... i miss u.. daddy will miss u, i know.. everyone at home misses u..
